The poster is right on the money with this one. You can tell exactly what it is. It doesn't pretend to be anymore more or less. It does what it says on the tin.
Wild Hogs is the name of the biker gang that Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H Macy have formed. Four middle aged men who ride around on their bikes occasionally and have boring crappy lives. Lawrence gets moaned at and nagged by his wife, Travolta has lost his wife in divorce and is losing his home, Allen has a dull life as a dentist whose kid doesn't wanna hang around with him and Macy is a computer geek who can't talk to women. They decide to go on a cross country road trip for a week and get away from it all. And guess what, they manage to sort their lives out in the process.
With more than a nod to City Slickers (5) the film does deliver what it promises. I laughed more than once, and I mean laughed not "a slight chuckle" as with Hot Fuzz. And also found that the sentiment wasn't too strong either which it could be. Made the No/1 spot in the states and there's talk of a sequel. Total Film gave it one star but ignore that.
Enjoyable, take a look.
