... it's rubbish, innit? The original's a ***** classic. I agree completely with the review on this site. Now that's sense.

I have to say, I'd go with the remake. I think the look of it suits the story more (seems more like a kids TV show) and also am wondering perhaps you found it boring because you know what's coming? If you watched the remake first would you still prefer the original? But then I suppose the argument is a remake has to hold something fairly obvious over the original to warrant its existence as a remake in the first place.......Ie. because people know what's coming you've got to surprise 'em with something else. Mmmmmm, tricky one......
Saying that, you preferred 'Walking Home' so we know you know what you're talking about............ ;D

Knowing what's coming isn't something that hurts a second viewing of the original - I guess it's the old problem of the first version seeming fresh and the remake being more of the same but without the spontaneity.

Well make sure u see the remake first, most have seen them the other way around so it'd be more interesting to have someone see the original second. See what comes of that.......
Lol.

Ooh I think you have shown a weakness. The Krispie remake is far better than the original. The whole 'short' is better filmed with much better lighting (artificial or not). The audio is very good as-well. It's down to your personal taste if you liked the story or not. Don't forget when filming: Trust, encouragement, reward, loyalty and satistaction will get you far. I think when watching films one should see the whole pie instead of viewing it through a keyhole. I'm Confused

Cat, Mr. Krispie is available on the store page of the site....only 10 bucks. There you get both films. What a steal!
I think Simon has a point. Mr Griffin might be influenced by the original. Basic psychology, when the thing that comes along second has to compete with the thing people saw first.... It is impossible to see them independently really...
