Hey all, I was just wondering...although im not new to writing, i am v new to writing in screenplay format! (first ever script last weekend ) so anyways .. any tips? Is it a good idea to do it in a non-script format then convert or treat the story as a film from the start? How much detail should you put in? cheers then! ;D

Best to write in the correct format straight away to save work later on.
I have a script format doc that I can give to you. It's really great for seeing just how everything should go in. As for detail, that's in there too. Best to keep it short and let the reader do the rest. Or it becomes too wordy and boring...
Good job on the script tho!
I'm sure Will or others might have a comment....?
Cheers Paul

The best thing you can do before you start writing a script is read other scripts, see how it's done. You'll be surprised how much you'll pick up.
