I'm gonna write a feature length version of Katie's Mission. Looking to make it as a possible larger scale production in a few projects time. The first script was only 30 pages and I like to think the story is there to expand to fill a full 90 minutes.
The DV format lets it down in places. It's common for low budget pieces like this. All the shots are there, the acting is spot on, the effects etc but the image itself sometimes isn't up to scratch....but alas the money went on the screen.
It'll be interesting to see if the story can be expanded and not feel to me, knowing the original so well, that I'm not just padding it out and having all the new scenes stick out... only time will tell... I welcome any thoughts....(or scenes/ideas/or 60 odd pages ;-) )

What so, you'd use the stuff already shot plus new stuff which you would shoot to add to that stuff?

What stuff? Stuff? No, I'd start from scratch. Higher quality kit, Film or HD and bigger effects/action etc. The story would be the same but expanded for 90 minutes.
